The Krush Academy U-11 Girls, winners of the Region B Cup, traveled to Pensacola last weekend to compete against Florida’s other regional winners for their age group’s top prize, the President’s Cup. The girls opened play with a dominating 6-0 victory over the Northwest Force (Region D), the victory advanced the team to the final against West Pines United (Region A). Similar to their regional final, the girls went down early in the game, but again showed heart and determination to equalize the score just before halftime.  The Krush controlled the second half, keeping the ball in West Pines’ end, but despite several great opportunities, they were unable to put the ball in the net, and the game ended with the score tied 1-1, forcing the match to be decided by penalty kicks which the Krush prevailed by a score of four kicks to two!  Congratulations to all the young ladies who participated: Maddie Brick, Sarah Buckley, Meg Byfield, Sydney Carroll, Caroline Carney, Maddie Coates, Danielle Garzon, Kim Graue, Courtney Mang, Carly Montgomery, Kerel Morris & Stephanie Salas!!!

The Krush will be putting on a FREE three week soccer clinic for young ladies ages 7, 8 & 9. The clinic will be held at Central Winds Park located in Winter Springs starting on Tuesday, April 17th from 6:00pm - 8:00pm; The other dates are Tuesday, April 24th & Tuesday, May 1st. The This is an excellent opportunity to understand the importance of becoming more proficient in technical skills and to get many touches on the ball. The free clinic will be conducted by coaches who are passionate and knowledgeable of the game of soccer and pride themselves on wanting to make better players.The clinic is for young players who have already played several seasons and who have a desire to play soccer.

• Under 8’s = August 01/98 - July 31/99
• Under 7’s = August 01/99 - July 31/00
